Welcome to the Governance and Policies page for Living Life With HS C.I.C. We are a registered Community Interest Company (Company Number 17112524) operating in England and Wales.

Transparency, integrity, and accountability are the bedrock of everything we do. We are a patient-led campaign built to support HS warriors. To do that effectively and to secure the vital funding our community needs to thrive, we operate to the highest professional standards.

Please note: Living Life With HS C.I.C. is a community interest company, not a medical or clinical body. We exist to provide advocacy and peer support, not medical advice or diagnosis.

Our Leadership

Our campaign is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors. Their role is to oversee our long-term strategy, ensure that every penny of our funding is allocated correctly to benefit the HS community, and maintain our core mission. The board ensures we stay true to our grassroots origins while operating with the legal and financial rigour expected of a registered C.I.C.

Safeguarding & Inclusivity

Living Life With HS is a safe harbour for people who have frequently been marginalised, ignored, or left to suffer in silence. To protect our community, we enforce robust, board-approved policies for Safeguarding alongside Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). We are strictly committed to ensuring our digital platforms, support groups, and future real-world events remain safe, fair, and welcoming spaces for absolutely everyone.
